Entry Requirement
B.Sc degree with 50% mark in all the the three optional subjects in aggregate and should have studied Chemistry/ Biochemistry compulsorily along with atleast one of the following optional subjects. a. Course Information
This postgraduate programs lays emphasis on practical laboratory training with industrial visits forming a part of the course supplementing the regular curriculum. Some of the subjects covered during the course of study include General Microbiology, Bio-molecules, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Bio-informatics and Computer Applications, Animal Biotechnology, Plant Biotechnology, Bio-ethics, Genetic Engineering and Environmental Biotechnology.


Assessment
The students are assessed based on their practical laboratory work and term end examinations.
