Capital Educational Trust was established in the year 1994. The institutions run by them are known to the masses through its novel methodologies adopted in the education front. Dr. Joseph V.G. the founder Chairman of this trust has been dispensing quality education through Garden City College and had initiated the idea of Capital Educational Trust when he was approached by the nearby villagers for having a facility to alleviate loco motor problems. He established the Garden City College of Physiotherapy with a free clinic to address the problems of the villagers. Garden City College of Physiotherapy is the first college in Bangalore to have commenced the BPT course.

The trust has expertise in identifying job oriented courses that finds good industry exposure has delved into conducting courses related to Computer Application, Business Management, B.Com with Computers, Biotechnology, Genetics and Microbiology under the banner of Capital College. The recent addition is the college for nursing.

The expert faculty team and state of the art infrastructure complements the study environment at this campus. Without just limiting to the frames of the university syllabus, they have laid emphasis on practical work. They have setup futuristic laboratories in their campus. They have been arranging seminars and symposiums regularly to create a higher sense of industry awareness. The facilities for sporting activities are also commendable. The presence of students from different corners of the country gives the campus a total cosmopolitan outlook.

Their library is a repository of knowledge with the necessary titles related to all subjects taught. Students need not buy books on their own since multiple copies of the titles are available.

The Capital Educational Trust in order to promote education of the highest level has set up a separate academy that is constantly striving to implement quality practices in all its institutions. The academy is also in talks with various foreign institutions to start up research oriented activities in the campus.

The intake of students is being increased with the commencement of MBA & MCA course. Separate blocks have been commissioned for these courses.
